| Add | You can add a website to your favorites with “Add.” |
| Address | This is the exact “address” (URL) of a website. |
| Authentication mechanism | This function serves to protect you. It is displayed when you unsubscribe a category. |
| Avatar | An avatar is the picture that you present yourself in the internet with. |
| Best | The most popular websites among our users is found here. |
| Bookmarks | Like in a book, you can provide a bookmark for certain site, in order to find them quicker later. Bookmarks are any websites that can be subdivided into public or private bookmarks. |
| CAPTCHA | Captcha is a security test that makes it possible to differentiate between humans and computers in order to avoid manipulation. |
| Category | Websites that have similar themes are compiled into groups. |
| Category tree | A category tree graphically presents categories and their subcategories. |
| Del | You can remove a website from the collection of your favorites with “Del.” |
| Details | You can find information and ratings for a website under “Details.” |
| Detail rating | You can assign up to 6 stars for the categories user friendly, design and speed. The rating can be changed at any time. |
| Edit | This means to change something. |
| Favorite | Websites that you have selected from the MyWebBar.com catalog are called favorites. |
| Instant-Messenger | Two or even more participants correspond via internet text messages that are immediately sent with just a "click." Some examples are ICQ, Yahoo, Windows-Live-Messenger |
| Karma | You get a “reward” for actions you have done as a user on MyWebBar.com. |
| Language | You can see what language the website is presented in here. |
| Link | The word link comes from the English chain or connection and is the short form of hyperlink. More or less, it means linking or transfering from one website to another. |
| Link information | You can find information about e.g. an address or to which category a website belongs. |
| Messaging | This is were you determine whether other users that use instant messengers are allowed to see you. You also see which messenger they use. |
| Mine | All of your favorites are listed in alphabetical order here. |
| MyWebBar-release | You decide whether other users can view and use your category tree settings. |
| Newest | You can find the websites that are brand new on MyWebBar.com here. |
| Overall rating | You can see how many ratings have already been submitted here. You can also gather at what level this rating ended-up in the overall ratings. |
| Private bookmarks | are only visible to you personally. You can naturally release these bookmarks and let everyone view them. |
| Public bookmarks | As soon as bookmarks are released by a user, they become public for everyone to view. You are anonymously listed next to the respective link under “Details.” |
| Random | New random websites are displayed with every click. |
| Recommendations | Here, websites are presented to you that you may like. |
| Recommendations/Suggestions | Recommend new websites and categories in order to expand MyWebBar.coms offerings. |
| Report | If a link is damaged or leads to the wrong site, then you can inform us about it. |
| Regional settings | Which time zone are you in? |
| Standard profile | A standard profile is a category tree that is geared toward a specific topic and created by MyWebBar.com itself or from other users. e.g. Shopping, News |
| Tag | Comes from the English “to tag” and means like to label, mark or designate. Every website can contain an individual label and/or keyword from a user. |
| Tag cloud | Tag cloud – A tag cloud is the graphic representation of all tags that have been added to MyWebBar.com. |
| Toolbar | A toolbar is a symbol bar that allows quick access to specific menu functions. |
| Top 30 | You can see the 30 favorites that are the most important to you. |
| URL | A URL is a websites exact address in the internet. |
| User | Here you can see which sites other users thought were good, how much Karma you have already collected, meaning how active you were. |
| Visit | You are sent directly to a respective website with “Visit.” |
| Webshot | A webshot is nothing more than a picture of a website. Report – If a link is damaged or leads to the wrong site, then you can inform us about it. |
